For auto glass shops

ADAS calibration for auto glass shops

You replace the glass. We calibrate the camera behind it — static, dynamic, or both, to the manufacturer’s procedure — and hand you the documentation that makes the calibration line hold up on the invoice.

Why shops sublet calibration

Most late-model windshields now carry a forward-facing camera, and when the glass comes out the camera comes off its bracket. Once it is disturbed, the manufacturer generally requires it to be calibrated before the vehicle is returned to service. That puts every glass shop in the same position: either invest in target systems, scan tooling, OEM information subscriptions, a level and controlled bay, and trained staff — or partner with someone who already has them.

Owning calibration in-house makes sense at high volume. For many shops, it means expensive equipment that sits idle between ADAS jobs, a bay that cannot be used for anything else while targets are set, and a technician pulled off installs. A sublet partner turns that fixed cost into a per-job line item.

What we do for your shop

  • Static and dynamic calibration as specified by the OEM for that vehicle — including vehicles that require both procedures in sequence.
  • All makes and models. We work from the manufacturer’s procedure for the specific vehicle rather than a generic process.
  • Mobile service, nationwide. We come to your shop or to the vehicle, so the car does not have to leave your lot or be sent to a dealer.
  • Certified calibration technicians with state-of-the-art equipment.
  • A complete record on every job — pre-repair scan, OEM procedure reference, calibration record, and post-repair scan.
  • Invoiced for sublet, so the documentation can be attached directly to your file.

How a partnership works

1. You call or send the vehicle

Give us the year, make, model, and VIN if you have it, plus where the vehicle is. We confirm which calibration the manufacturer requires before anyone is dispatched, so you can quote your customer accurately.

2. We confirm the site

Static calibration needs a flat, level surface, clear space in front of the vehicle, consistent lighting, and shelter from wind. Dynamic calibration needs suitable roads and weather. We check this when booking rather than on arrival. The detail is in our guide to mobile ADAS calibration.

3. We calibrate and document

The technician performs the OEM procedure, confirms it completed, and runs the post-repair scan. If conditions on the day do not allow the procedure to be completed properly, we say so and reschedule rather than return a vehicle with an incomplete calibration.

4. You get the paperwork

You receive the calibration documentation and our invoice, ready to attach to the job. See insurance and billing for what the file contains and why it matters.

Your customer stays your customer

We are calibrating on your behalf. The relationship with the vehicle owner is yours, and we are not there to sell them anything else.

Not sure whether a vehicle needs it?

Call us before you quote the job. Requirements vary by manufacturer and model — our vehicle guides summarise what we have been able to source for ten major makes, and calibration after windshield replacement covers the general rule.
